A dismountable and transportable cleanroom cabin for service work

Typically, service engineers having to perform service work on lasers, metrological equipment, sensors or other sensitive devices and components are faced with great problems because on-site environmental conditions in many cases fail to provide proper cleanliness for such purposes. More often than not, no cleanroom space is available so necessary equipment service can only be carried out at the manufacturer’s site.

COLANDIS GmbH offers a solution to such problems – the dismountable and transportable “CleanTent” cleanroom cabin.

Tightly packed in two suitcases, the cabin can be transported by car or airplane. It can be completely assembled by one or two persons within a matter of thirty seconds.

Inside the product area which is confined by flexible streamliner panelling, there are two fan filter modules to maintain ISO 4 air cleanness level. Depending on the cabin’s site environment, ISO class 5 to 7 is reached for the other areas. Its basic frame structure of anodised aluminium and electrostatic-dissipating single-use foil guarantee the cleanroom compatibility of the whole structure. Several sets of foil are contained in the cases.

For greater convenience, the cabin has a built-in illuminator. All electrical components are rated for universal power supply standard (100 – 240 V AC).
